In this year’s Artists of the Mohawk Hudson Region, guest juror Victoria Palermo interprets submissions and develops an exhibition that responds to the issue of environmental change. As one of the nation’s longest-running regional juried exhibition, AMHR features the works of artists living within 100 miles of Albany. Palermo presents an exhibition that depicts ideals of landscape — past, present, and of the artists’ imaginings; examines the impact of environmental degradation; and asks what can be done about it.

When you pass Glens Falls Hospital on the right, continue straight and you will soon come to the roundabout at Centennial Circle. Go into the Circle and take the second right exit onto Warren Street. The Museum is located six blocks down on the right, just past the Armory.
Parking is available on both sides of the Museum complex, as well as along Warren Street. Look for “Parking” signage on the west side in front of Hoopes House, along Warren Street, and at the entrance to the east lot. Spaces for handicapped and special needs parking are located in the smaller parking area in front of Hyde House.
The entire complex is accessible by wheelchair with two exceptions: the guest bedroom downstairs and Mrs. Hyde’s bedroom upstairs.
Service animals are welcome in the Museum, but they must wear a service identification jacket or vest. Thank you.
