      Road Trip to New England: A Plant-Based Autumn Feast

      The prettiest time in New England is when the leaves go ablaze with colors, the skies turn bright blue, and the air is crisp. Join us in picturesque Ridgefield, CT, for a delicious plant-based dinner prepared by Chef Cathy Katin-Grazzini, personal chef and Food Editor of VEGWORLD Magazine.  Exact location will be provided to registrants. If the evening is mild, we'll eat osteria-style under a garden pergola; if it's chilly, we'll eat indoors and enjoy a fire in the hearth.  The menu will include: First course: Crispy polenta crostine with sauteed mixed mushrooms and thyme, as well as mini mixed veggie quiches Main course: Medley of spiralized root veggies in a light creamy sauce over whipped chickpea dal with roasted garlic and herbs Dessert: Glazed pear-wild blueberry tart with a dollop of vegan crème fraîche Drinks: Plenty of bubbly waters on hand and BYO wine, if desired All dishes served will be whole food, plant-based, without oil, refined sugars, gluten or refined flour. Low fat and low salt.
